Get to Know Brian Rolison, Director of Sales at Endless Summer Roofing

Today, we're thrilled to introduce you to Brian Rolison, the dynamic force behind our sales department. Join us as we delve into Brian's role, his journey, and some fascinating insights that illuminate his passion for our customers.

Q: What does your job entail?

A: As the Director of Sales, I manage our sales team, coordinate scheduling, and work with our customers to make the roofing process as easy as possible. I also have a general focus on the insurance side of the roofing industry. ESR handles the insurance claim process for our customers from inception until completion of their new roof. It can be an overwhelming experience for homeowners who are not familiar with the insurance claim process. We're here to simplify everything and provide a great experience along with a top-notch new roof system.

Q: What's the best advice you can give someone who just started their career?

A: Set individual goals for yourself. Know where you want to be next year, 5 years from now, etc. Work daily to get better and achieve your goals. Have a career growth path and stick to it. Good things don't typically come to you overnight. Keep grinding and working hard and you'll achieve your goals.

Q: What are the toughest challenges you've had at work?

A: I think a challenge for anyone in sales, no matter the industry, is staying motivated daily. There are days when it feels like your teeth get kicked in by rejection but the days when you have success far outweigh the tough days. Provide a quality product, treat people the way you want to be treated and good things will follow.

Q: What's your secret talent no one knows about?

A: I'm pretty good at spearing fish and bagging lobster.

Q: In terms of successes, which accomplishments are you most proud of?

A: It sounds cliché but I'm most proud of my kids. They range from 16 to 23. They are all very well-rounded people and thriving. I feel proud that we did a pretty good job for all of them to be such great individuals.

Q: Tell me something about yourself that most people don't know.

A: I played college baseball. I majored in education and my goal was to eventually coach college baseball.

Q: When you're at work, how do you motivate yourself?

A: It's not something I think about on a daily basis. I always want to be the "go to" guy. I try to be helpful and kind every chance I get. I like to provide solutions to problems and communicate early and often with people and feel rewarded when I am able to make someone's day better.
